Company Profile
Introduction
Arabicas Ltd is a coffee roasting company started initially on the 03rd of March 1986 by one Brian Owen from Finland, who then sold it to Zu Pyo Hong from Korea. The Simbu Provincial Government bought the company on the 06th of October 2010 and currently owns 100% shares.
Arabicas Coffee Ltd is based at section 84 Lot8/9, Air Port Road, Goroka, Eastern Highlands Province.
The company is registered as a business arm of the Simbu Provincial Government with Papua New Guinea Investment Promotion Authority on 01st November 2012 with Company Registration Number: 1-11144.

To provide a full range of top quality organic coffee flavors for the world to fully enjoy its rich taste and aromas.
Objectives
The specific strategies to achieve those objectives are as follows;
1 Maintain a total quality management of coffee roasting business.
2 Ensure the quality of output is fully enjoyed by end consumers.
3 Develop the staff of Arabicas Coffee Ltd
4 Extend and improve the business activities anticipated by the company.
5 Work to improve the physical work environment and the quality of its stock and capital assets.
6 Promote Coffee business to government policy makers and other business communities.
7 Monitor and Improve commercial viability of Coffee Roasting Business in Papua New Guinea.
Main Business Activities
There are three (3) main business activities in which Arabicas Coffee Ltd engages in to generate income;
1 Processing – The Company Collected Fees from Machinery Equipments used by customers in processing coffee or other machinery usages.
2 Roasting – The Company also generates income from processing and roasting of green beans to roasted beans.
3 Green Beans Export – The Company also exports green beans to overseas clients to earn income to sustain its operations.
However, the roasting activity as per license agreement with the Coffee Industry Corporation Ltd has taken precedence over the other two activities.
